Electrical food slicer sigma1 - sturdy as well as compactly built
This sturdy metal food slicer is a true all-rounder with a great price-performance ratio. The metal construction and the functional design are the key characteristics of this appliance. Because of its narrow shape, the food slicer sigma1 doesn’t need much space on your worktop and therefore is the perfect choice for smaller kitchens.
Stepless adjustment of the slice thickness is possible to approx. 20 mm. For extra large pieces of food, the carriage can be detached. Food slicer sigma1 is driven by a 65 W eco motor, at 20 % reduced power consumption but 50 % increased engine efficiency compared to the previous model.

Special features
Metal construction
Slender body but strong performance. Metal construction and functional design are its significant features. The slicer requires only little space on the worktop because of its slim shape. All parts that ensure stability are made of metal, making the device very sturdy and precise.
Detachable carriage
The carriage of the sigma1 food slicer can be easily removed for oversized products or for cleaning.
Safety switch for intermittent and continuous operation
Two operating modes are available. For short operation, the switch is pressed and pushed forward to the resistor. The circular blade runs as long as the switch remains pressed in this position. For continuous operation, the switch is pressed and pushed beyond the resistor until it engages. The circular blade runs in this operating mode without the switch being held down, until the switch is returned to the "0" position.
Slice thickness continuously adjustable
Stepless adjustment of the slice thickness is possible from wafer-thin up to approx. 20 mm. Thanks to the infinitely variable slicing thickness adjustment, the food can be cut into appetising slices.
Circular blade
The serrated circular blade, made from stainless steel, ensures the perfect "slice". It is well suited for all kinds of slicing. Both hard and soft food may be cut into appetizing slices.
Circular blade lock
Thus, the circular blade can easily be removed for cleaning with no additional tools thanks to a convenient bayonet lock.
Electrical food slicers economy
An electrical food slicer in the economy segment is best suited for occasional use. The entry-level food slicers are equipped with universal blades and due to the small appliance dimensions they ensure that a small amount of space is required in the kitchen. A bread slicing machine goes well with every home!
Powerful eco motor
The power is here! The food slicer sigma1 is driven by a 65 W eco motor which is 20 % more economical and just the same 50 % more powerful than the previous model. The use of this energy-saving motor makes a positive contribution to environmental protection.
